My name is Jacob Ranney, by day I invest in the stock markets and do my best to stay as active as possible. Efoiling has been a sort of developing niche for me because there are a lot of repeatable patterns involved with foiling as well within the markets and since humans are pattern recognition machines efoiling simply aligned with my lifestyle. I moved down to Florida two years ago from Massachusetts, it’s been one of the foundational moves I’ve made so that I can find greater ways to increase the awesome in my life.

My intention with efoiling is to spread the incredible experience and get as many people involved with efoiling as possible, I’ve felt the return on investment almost immediately and I believe I can teach others to experience the same amount of joy and fulfilment.

When I look back on my time efoiling I must smile in amazement because it was all about being in the right place at the right time. I had never even heard of efoiling when I was allotted the opportunity to try for my first time, previously I surfed and was building my skillset in slacklining but efoiling wasn’t even on my radar, all that changed after my first fifteen-minute session with my friends efoil.

 

Fast forward to one year later, I finally had enough to purchase my first efoil and well the rest is just an on-going process to improve my knowledge and skill set surrounding the world of efoiling, its clear now to say that it was love at first sight!
